Opticianry Skills & Experience

-Attended school at McCarrie School of Heath Sciences and Technology

 in Philadelphia, PA during the early 1990s. Field of study involved

 Opticianry Science. Main objective study; Professional Dispensing

 Optician.

-Studied light physics, and have always had a keen interest in its

 application to Opticianry Science, as well as Astronomy, Cosmology

 and other related fields.

-Have a working knowledge of, and a passion for the study of light,

 and the human perception of its presence.

-Possess a working knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and

 physiology involving the eye.

-Familiar with ocular terminology and applications, i.e. Rx Analysis,

 optical lens design and abnormalities, crossed cylinder, base curve

 cylinder analysis, multifocal analysis, anisometropia, aniseikonia

 and magnification etc.

-Familiar with medical terminology describing normal/abnormalities,

 functioning/malfunctioning and diseases involving the eye.
